Acupressure Massage - What Happens in a Treatment

To eliminate any contraindications a brief medical history consultation takes place on your initial appointment which means your first session is about 40 minutes. The subsequent treatments last approximately 30 minutes, including progress review. There is no charge for the additional time spent on the initial consultation. You will be asked to relax into a specially designed chair, the lights will be dimmed and soft music played whilst the treatment is carried out.

The treatment uses techniques to work the muscle tissues and over 60 acupressure points on the back, neck, shoulders, head and arms. This massage promotes wellbeing of the cardiovascular, muscular and nervous systems leaving you feeling relaxed yet invigorated.

The treatment is silent to enable you to escape from reality however if you feel any discomfort you should say immediately so the pressure can be adjusted and you can continue to relax.

After the treatment is finished you will be served a glass of water and encouraged to rest for a few minutes.
