What Happens During a Treatment

To eliminate any contraindications a brief medical history consultation takes place on your initial appointment which means your first session is about 40 minutes. The subsequent treatments last approximately 25 minutes, including progress review. There is no charge for the additional time spent on the initial consultation.

Then you will be asked to relax into a chair under a soft blanket. The lights will be dimmed and soft music played whilst the treatment is carried out. The treatment involves massage and acupressure techniques to the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face which deeply relaxes the body and mind. As the body relaxes, toxins can be released from tense knotted muscles, circulation to the brain is improved and neck and shoulder stiffness can be relieved.

The treatment is silent to enable you to escape from reality however if you feel any discomfort you should say immediately so the pressure can be adjusted and you can continue to relax

After the treatment is finished you will be served a glass of water and encouraged to rest for a few minutes.
